Ash is an experienced commercial lawyer with a focus on dispute resolution and litigation. He has close to a decade’s experience gained in litigation at a national mid-tier law firm and as an in-house legal counsel for a national asset manager and non-bank lender. This breadth of experience has provided him with a practical understanding of the legal, commercial and strategic considerations that shape disputes.

Known for his empathetic and client-focused approach, Ash is committed to ensuring clients are fully informed throughout every stage of a matter. He takes the time to explain legal issues in a clear and practical way. Ash works to achieve clients’ objectives by combining strong analytical skills with persuasive advocacy.

His experience includes advising on and acting in matters involving:

• General contractual disputes

• Construction disputes across both the domestic and commercial building sectors

• Shareholder disputes, including oppression proceedings and other disputes arising under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)

• Insolvency investigations and litigation, including matters involving liquidators, administrators and bankruptcy

Ash has acted for businesses, insolvency practitioners and individuals across a broad range of commercial disputes. In addition to his litigation experience, he has extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements across a broad range of subject matters.

Ash holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne.
